Samsung Flash memories are manufactured using innovative 3D-V-NAND architecture, in which 32 cell levels are stacked, instead of trying to reduce the cell length and width in order to accommodate the memory in today's ever smaller equipment. For your servers, we always make use of the latest processor generation by Intel. The result is a higher density and better performance, while using little space. It also constitutes a breakthrough in overcoming the density limitations of conventional NAND architecture.

The use of introduction points to the ZH4 and ZH5 datacenter provides us with a fully redundant network installation within the Equinix campus. This set-up provides us with a fully redundant physical and logical network installation within our datacenters. The datacenter has ISO 9001 and ISO 27001 certificates and is FINMA-compatible.
We have established direct links to all Swiss networks (e.g. SWISSCOM, UPC Cablecom etc.) to ensure optimal connectivity to the Swiss Internet. This implies that data packets will be transferred directly, thus ensuring maximum security for all data transmissions within Switzerland. We use some of the best European service providers and link up with Asia through connections to the two largest Asian service providers. Data packets to Asia are directly routed to Asia, without a detour via European or American partner companies
All our quotations include professional firewalls. You also have the option of defining individual firewall settings for each server and to activate an additional firewall where required. Your servers are therefore protected by several firewalls. Only a few small and medium-sized companies have security structures of such high quality today.
All our servers have commands for hardware-supported AES encryption. This allows them to encrypt their data in real time using AES 256 bit. It is one of the safest encryption methods available today, without adversely affecting the performance capability of your server. The speed of encryption is ten times higher than without hardware support.
Our virtualisation technology is based on KVM servers. This technology facilitates a complete separation of VM and the hypervisor operating system. This separation is much safer than container-based virtualisation in which VM and host share certain operating system elements. Most VPS offers on the market work with container-based virtualisation that does not satisfy our security requirements.
Each unit of our environment includes 12 hypervisor servers. This unit is completely independent, has its own CISCO firewall, own storage access and own administration and backup logic. This high level of segmentation into completely independent units significantly improves security.
